Julie completed her massage training at East West College of the Healing Arts, one of the longest-established massage schools in the Northwest, where she has been practicing for over five years. She also collaborates with chiropractors in a clinical environment. Julie is deeply inspired by the therapeutic benefits of massage for addressing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction recovery.

In addition to her massage training, Julie holds a certification in myofascial cupping. Julie has recently advanced her studies at the Updleger Institute, successfully completing Levels 1 and 2 of craniosacral therapy. In October 2023, she also finished a SomatoEmotional Release (SER) course. SER, a form of Craniosacral therapy, offers a gentle yet effective approach to working with both the body's tissues and emotions. This method helps release trapped energy and memories related to trauma, promoting emotional healing and restoring the mind-body connection by addressing negative, stagnant energy tied to past experiences.

Julie takes a thoughtful approach to deep tissue work, blending lighter pressure with a variety of techniques to help you achieve your wellness goals. She has furthered her expertise through specialized training, including CSN1 (Cranial Nerves), CSWCWCD (Working with Clients with Chronic Depletion), and Visceral Manipulation Level 1 through the Barral Institute.

Julie’s ultimate goal is to specialize in mental health and help her clients quality of life.
